After making his Liverpool debut this week, Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri says he's prepared to bide his time working as Pepe Reina's understudy.

He said: "I have an excellent relationship with Reina and he has been one of the people who has helped me the most since I arrived at the club.

"I always respect and accept any decision of the coach, but I will be always ready to perform when the chance emerges."
