Liverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri has welcomed the signing of former Atletico Madrid captain Maxi Rodriguez.
Maxi arrived on Merseyside in time to see Liverpool dumped out of the FA Cup by Reading.
Cavalieri told liverpoolfc.tv: "He is a good player. He has played well in Madrid and also for Argentina and I think he can help us. It is a good signing."
