Catania striker Maxi Lopez opens door to AC Milan move

Catania striker Maxi Lopez feels he's ready to join AC Milan.

The former Barcelona forward is being linked with a move to the Rossoneri.

"I have only recently become aware of these rumours, but I don't know anything more than that," the Argentine told Calciomercato.it.

"Milan are a great club, so it's only natural I'd like to play for them, but I have to talk to Catania and my agent. We'll see what happens in January.

"I am certainly ready for another experience with a top club after Barcelona. I already know Mark Van Bommel and Gianluca Zambrotta, so I'd be happy to work with them again.

"How likely am I to join Milan? It's too early to say, you'd have to ask the clubs."
