Southampton are keen on Catania striker Gonzalo Bergessio according to reports.
The Saints are hoping to bring the 28-year old Argentine to St Mary's this summer with Mauricio Pochettino hoping to attract further strike quality to the south coast.
Despite the apparent Southampton interest, it is believed that Catania president Antonio Pulvirenti has no plans to sell the former San Lorenzo and Saint-Etienne man.
