Catania are in talks with Silvio Baldini about succeeding former coach Pasquale Marino.
The Sicilians successfully avoided the drop on the last day of the season with a 2-0 victory over Chievo, but Marino has decided to move on to Udinese and the race is on for a successor.
"I can say that the names circulating in the newspapers are correct and among them is Baldini," confessed President Antonio Pulvirenti on Teleradiostereo 92.7.
"Whoever takes over, we will stay true to our philosophy of attacking football without excessive defending."
