Catania president Antonino Pulvirenti wants Lega authorities to throw the book at Inter Milan counterpart Massimo Moratti.
Pulvirenti is demanding action after Moratti chose to speak publicly about the hearing Catania chief Pietro Lo Monaco has been copped for his verbal attack on Jose Mourinho.
Moratti commented on the scandal and said "there is no argument here, just one of the two people who is taking what I consider to be an uncivilised attitude."
But now Pulvirenti says: "Moratti does not even know Lo Monaco, having bumped into him only a couple of times.
"I would've expected quite another position from President Moratti. Instead, the top Nerazzurri figure has made matters worse by using terms that I believe deserve an intervention from the FIGC.
"I expect them to intervene the exact same way and with similar speed to the way they just ruled on our general manager.
"I close this letter saying that this is the last time Catania will comment on what was sparked by Mourinho's gratuitously provocational, offensive and anti-sporting statements after Inter-Catania."
