Catania president Antonino Pulvirenti has revealed one of Takayuki Morimoto or Mirko Antenucci will be sold in January.
Japanese striker Morimoto has been linked with Manchester United, Everton and Arsenal in England.
Pulvirenti would prefer to sell the youngster ahead of fellow forward Maxi Lopez.
"Maxi Lopez will remain with us over the winter transfer window period," Pulvirenti confirmed to Sky Sport 24. "We have repeated this sentiment on many occasion and he is aware of it, and is convinced of his position here.
"In June, we will give him a chance to move to a big club as he deserves.
"As for the remainder of the team, we know what we are doing, and have to let go either Morimoto or Antenucci. More that that, we do not need to."
