Catania midfielder Francesco Lodi has shrugged off talk of an Italy call-up.
Lodi has been likened to Juventus veteran Andrea Pirlo.
"I’m not thinking about the national team right now, my priority is to do well for Catania,” he told Mediaset.
“I won’t let a few good games affect me as I know I have to play well with consistency.
“The only thing I have in common with Andrea is the role that we play.
“He’s done a lot in his career, a lot for Italian football and he’s reached the highest levels. I’m only at the beginning and I still have to demonstrate my ability.”
