Catania sports director Pietro Lo Monaco insists they're not actively seeking to sell Nicola Spolli.

Napoli have been linked with the midfielder.

"Spolli is slowly returning from an injury and it would not be right to be speaking about a possible departure," the director told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. "All that I can say is that Napoli have not asked me for him.

"He is not a natural left-footed player.

"I am also convinced Napoli can fight it out for the league until the end. It is a strange season, with a lot of equal teams.

"Therefore, if Lazio are considered Milan's nearest rivals, Napoli can also be considered them, too."
