Catania coach Walter Zenga declared Gigi Buffon the difference after their defeat to Juventus.
The ex-Italy No1 said: "Quite apart from refereeing decisions - which I refuse to comment on now - I am again forced to discuss a game in which we played well, had four or five chances and the opposition goalkeeper was Man of the Match."
Buffon performed several crucial saves, but Juve managed to win 2-1 in Sicily despite seeing Vincenzo Iaquinta sent off after just 12 minutes.
"It is true that we haven't kept a clean sheet for 17 rounds, so that has to be considered," noted Zenga.
"We played well, but made a mistake and lost a point. We can't get to the final five minutes against Juve and lose the ball so much in midfield, giving away endless corner kicks.
"Of course we are left with regrets that we were unable to bring home any points."
