Catania chief Lo Monaco in new broadside at Mourinho

Catania chief Pietro Lo Monaco has launched a new attack on Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho.

Lo Monaco sparked controversy last season when he told the Italian Press that Mourinho "should be thumped in the teeth" following Inter's fortuitous 2-1 win over Catania in September.

And yesterday, he told Il Giorno: "I note that also this season his behaviour still shows itself to be more than capable of talking off the pitch than working on it, even if he has one of the strongest sides in Europe in his hands.

"I would be happy if Inter were to go further in the Champions League, even if results at this moment in time say the opposite. Mourinho only thinks about speaking. Instead he should worry more about winning.

"He speaks about everyone and everything. He has something to say about everything and then he allows himself to come out with expressions like 'the noise of enemies'. I don't hide the fact that my words towards him last season were strong, but I paid with a fine and a suspension.

"He never pays and yet he continues to give his own opinions on everyone and everything."
