Catania sports chief Pietro Lo Monaco says Sinisa Mihajlovic wants the job at Inter Milan.

The Fiorentina coach is a contender to replace Leonardo with the Nerazzurri and Lo Monaco believes he'd be a great appointment.

"Mihajlovic is very determined," said the official who hired Mihajlovic at Catania back in December 2009.

"He's always stated that his dream was to one day take charge at Inter," continued Lo Monaco on Monday morning.

"If that does happen then the Nerazzurri would get a very motivated guy. He's great at handling players and I'm convinced he could do well."
