Catania sports chief Pietro Lo Monaco has been fined and suspended for his outburst against Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho angered Lo Monaco earlier this season claiming Inter could have beaten Catania 5-0 and that he could have played in goal for Inter.

Lo Monaco hit back and stated that Mourinho "needed a smack in the mouth."

The Rossazzurri man will be banned from his role for 40 days and has received a fine of just under £12,000.
