Catania chief Pietro Lo Monaco insists his public row with Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho is over.
"For me it's a closed chapter," Lo Monaco said on Radio Anch'io Lo Sport.
"The whole thing got blown out of proportion. I have been investigated for it but there haven't been any disciplinary sanctions.
"I have explained that my words weren't trying to incite violence, but you must respect opponents and not insult them.
"I have in front of me a statement that Mourinho made when he was presented as Chelsea boss, it says: 'Ours is a difficult job. If I had wanted an easy one I could've stayed at Porto where first there is God and then there is me.'
"After I read that I understood things better. Everyone had their own character but I was appalled."
