Catania sports chief Pietro Lo Monaco says striker Maxi Lopez could still stay.

After previously inviting offers for the striker, Lo Monaco claims that the player may stay.

"Maxi Lopez continues to be our principal attacker and he'll remain that," he told Itasportpress.

"Only if we were to receive an offer that we couldn't refuse would we consider the idea of his sale.

"If he remains then we certainly wouldn't be disappointed."
