Catania have announced the departure of coach Vincenzo Montella.

Montella is expected to immediately take charge of Fiorentina.

A statement by the Sicilians read: "Catania announce that it has agreed in principle to the termination of the relationship with the Coach Vincenzo Montella. The coming days will be useful to refine the agreements and understanding we have reached."
