The agent of Feyenoord starlet Luc Castaignos has revealed an agreement with Arsenal is close.

"Luc needs to develop at his own pace," Castaignos' agent Arie Treffers told Sportweek. "For this reason he will be best served by remaining here.

"He realises that this move will be good for his career, but he will only sign for Arsenal if the club is prepared to let him stay on loan.

"If that does not happen he will remain under contract at Feyenoord."
