Cassano to start for Sampdoria against Juventus

Antonio Cassano is back in Sampdoria's starting line-up for today's big game against Juventus.

Sampdoria had dropped the star striker and then an injury kept him out for several weeks, but he is now ready to make his full comeback.

“We will see how he trains over the next few days, but he should start against Juventus,” confirmed Samp coach Gigi del Neri.

“He’s not 100 per cent yet, but unfortunately Nicola Pozzi’s injury removes any time for hesitation.

“Cassano will certainly want to prove his qualities. We are counting on him.”
