The agent of Antonio Cassano admits they're in talks with Sampdoria.

Samp president Massimo Ferrero opened the door to re-signing Cassano last week. He is a free agent after leaving Parma in January.

Beppe Bozzo is handling negotiations, though admits things have stalled.

"It's a very complicated discussion, negotiations are at a standstill," said Bozzo.

Cassano has made it clear he'd like to continue his career in Italy next season.
