Italy U21 boss Pierluigi Casiraghi fancies using his overage slots for his Olympic squad on some of Serie A's greatest.

"It'll depend on the choices Roberto Donadoni makes for the European Championships," said Casiraghi. "The priority will have to go to the 1984 players, like Alberto Aquilani (Roma) and Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus).

"But that's not excluding some national team heroes - Pippo Inzaghi (AC Milan) and Alex del Piero (Juventus). I'd also like Gigi Buffon (Juventus) and Luca Toni (Bayern Munich)."
