Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has taken a swipe at the club's treatment of it's local players. Talking about Spain teammate Juan Mata, who joined Valencia from Real, Casillas declared: "What I'd like is that players from home, my home, did not have to leave the club to demonstrate their value.
"We must break the barrier that people have for those in our juniors. It is difficult, but hopefully that can be broken in the future.
"And with the precedent of Mata, who has a great future and I am very happy for him, it may be easier."
