Iker Casillas is backing Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster to stay for next season.
With Real now six points clear at the top the table, Schuster appears more assured in the job and Casillas said: "A little stability doesn't hurt anyone - including Real Madrid.
"We should be happy that the club has found some stability. That the coach will remain is credit to the president (Ramon Calderon) and the good project he is building.
"Although we're out of the Copa and Champions League, we're well placed in the Liga and this is a very important trophy."
