Iker Casillas has urged Real Madrid to deal in veteran defender Fabio Cannavaro.

The Italy captain has an offer from Napoli for next season, but Casillas is desperate for him to stay.

"It would be a grave mistake to let Cannavaro escape from Madrid. The players and I want him to renew because he is very important," said the Spain goalkeeper.
