Casillas opens Real Madrid doors to Man Utd keeper De Gea

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has welcomed the potential arrival of David De Gea.

The Manchester United star continues to be linked with a summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu and if he were to make his home once again in Madrid, Casillas would not be opposed to having him as a teammate.

"If De Gea does come here, he'll be welcomed," Casillas told El Larguero.

"Competition is healthy - there is no clause in my contract which states that I have to be first choice; we'll have to compete for a place like we do with Spain.

"De Gea is a great bloke and a goalkeeper for the present and the future. He can handle pressure and the experience he has had at Manchester United will have served him well."
