Real Sociedad are chasing Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.
Segunda Liga Real are in takeover talks with a Chinese consortium and the Far East group, says DiarioSport, want to sign Gudjohnsen during the winter market.
The prospective owners have the resources to convince Gudjohnsen to drop into the Segunda Liga for six months and along with the Iceland international, they also want to replace coach Chris Coleman with Javier Irureta.
