Newcastle United No2 John Carver is delighted the Gallowgate End have accepted manager Alan Pardew.
During last month's 1-0 win over Wigan, which took Newcastle into third, the Gallowgate End chanted Pardew's name for the first time. Official acceptance.
"I mentioned it to him," Carver told the Daily Star. "I told him he must be doing something right because sometimes it can take a long time to win over these fans.
"He had a little chuckle and I knew it must have been a special moment for him. Now I've just got to stop him saying 'Newcaaarstle' and he'll have cracked it."
