Everton's Life President Sir Philip Carter is full of praise for manager Roberto Martinez.
Carter has likened Martinez to title-winning manager Howard Kendall.
He told evertonfc.com: "In many respects, yes.
"Howard was slightly younger at the time when we got him to join us but it's the attachment that the man [Martinez] can afford to the people he is dealing with. It's not just the players - it's the rest of the organisation.
"And, as he [Martinez] has said, Everton is the friendly club. We all know that is the case."
