Andy Carroll is digging in his heels at Liverpool.

Carroll, signed for £35million by Kenny Dalglish in 2011, does not figure in new boss Brendan Rogers' plans.

But a close pal of Carroll's told The Sun: "It doesn't matter what West Ham bid, Andy doesn't want to go there.

"He doesn't want to leave Liverpool and will only go on loan to a club playing in Europe."
