Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll has urged his side to bounce back from the disappointing defeat to Arsenal in the Capital One Cup.

Despite playing well, Tottenham eventually lost out 2-1 to North London rivals the Gunners in the third round clash on Wednesday night in what was a disappointing result for Spurs.

Carroll has revealed that Spurs are 'gutted' to have lost the game but is urging his teammates to quickly move past the defeat.

Carroll told SpursTV: "When we were 1-1 it was all us but we couldn't get that goal. Tonight just wasn't our night.

"The lads were gutted in the changing afterwards but we've got a good squad here and we'll move on to Saturday."
