Andy Carroll felt West Ham United came away from Swansea City almost empty-handed from their 1-1 draw.
The Hammers hit the front at the Liberty Stadium when Carroll netted in the 43rd minute but conceded to the Swans with just over 15 minutes remaining through a Mark Noble own-goal.
After the match, Carroll spoke of West Ham's disappointment at not being able to hold onto the lead they worked so hard for but admitted there was some satisfaction in getting a result in south Wales.
"It was disappointing we didn't keep the lead, which I thought we deserved," he told the club's official website.
"The lads were saying after the game that they didn't really do anything dangerous to us apart from score the goal.
"It's always hard to come away to Swansea, though, so we'll take a point and move on to the next game."
The draw kept the east London club in seventh spot on the table while Swansea remained ninth with their second draw on the trot.
Carroll's goal was his fourth of the Premier League season, all of which have come in his past seven outings.
