Michael Carrick would welcome Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder to Manchester United.
United are trying to negotiate a £35million deal to land the Dutch playmaker from Inter Milan.
But England star Carrick does not see that as a threat to him.
Carrick, 30, admitted: "At a club like this, there are always going to be players and names being bandied around.
"To be honest, as a player, you want the best players to be here whether it's in my position or not.
"We have had it before and I am sure we will have it again."
