Michael Carrick has wished former Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz all the best with his new job as Portugal coach.
"It's always sad to see people leave the club," Carrick told MUTV after yesterday's friendly victory over Aberdeen. "Carlos was a big part of this club and, along with the boss, had a lot to say about how it was run.
"But he's gone on to something different and as players we can appreciate that. We wish him all the best."
