Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick admits the players had their moment with Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of their ten-goal thriller with West Bromwich Albion.

The 5-5 draw marked Ferguson's final game in charge

Carrick revealed: "It was all a bit funny in the dressing room. We thanked the manager for everything he has done for us and he thanked us. We are ready to move on. There are new challenges now for all of us at the club."
