Michael Carrick admits Manchester United are being driven on this season by their Champions League ambitions.

The England star said: "Winning the league last year was amazing and we all want to repeat that.

"Good teams win the league once but you need to win it two or three times to become a great team and we want to put ourselves in that bracket.

"But the Champions League is what is really driving everyone on."
