Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick hailed their strike-force after victory over Stoke City.

Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and Danny Welbeck were all on the scoresheet.

"It's a good sign when your front lads are scoring goals and creating chances for each other," Carrick told talkSPORT.

"As a team it gives you a real threat. It puts you on the front foot and gives you a lot of confidence knowing they're capable of producing like that. It's a real plus for us."
