Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has full faith in the youngsters at the club.
The likes of Paul Pogba, Larnell Cole and Ravel Morrison could all start in tomorrow's Carling Cup quarter-final meeting with Crystal Palace and Carrick feels they are capable of doing a job for the reigning Premier League champions.
"I would back them to produce, definitely. They certainly have the talent. They are good players. They wouldn't be threatening to play if they weren't," he said.
"They have been doing things right, now it is about going to that next step. There are not loads of opportunities to come into the first team, so the Carling Cup is probably the best way to establish yourself."
