Carragher urges Liverpool players forget boardroom drama

The Reds have been hit by off-field wrangles with co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett at loggerheads.

Chief executive Rick Parry and Rafa Benitez have been dragged into the ongoing rows, but Carragher wants the players to look at nothing else but their forthcoming Premier League clash with Fulham.

"We've got to concentrate on Fulham," insisted Carragher.

Carragher is keen to make sure Liverpool maintain some form with one eye on next week's Champions League semi-final first-leg clash against Chelsea.

"If we took our eye off them we could end up losing and maybe with it a bit of confidence for when we play Chelsea," he said.

"Fulham are fighting for their lives and it will be tough. They need the points as much as us.

"We must keep our form going as Everton will take it to the wire."
