Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher hailed West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long's wonder goal last night.
Long controlled the ball from over his shoulder, shimmied away from the oncoming defender and rifled it past Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
Carragher told Sky Sports: "This is a goal that reminds me of the one Dennis Bergkamp scored in the World Cup. Holland v Argentina in 1998, that long ball from Frank De Boer, the control, a slightly different finish, but that's the company this goal is in.<> "It is that good. Some people would argue it is not as big a stage as the World Cup but that was definitely some goal."
