Jamie Carragher is set for an extended run in the Liverpool first team.

Carragher is set for a Liverpool recall, with Daniel Agger expected to be ruled out for up to a month.

Agger suffered a suspected broken rib in Sunday's Carling Cup final win over Cardiff at Wembley.

The defender, who pulled out of the Denmark squad to face Russia, was substituted after 86 minutes at Wembley having suffered the injury.

Agger cracked two ribs losing to Spurs last September and missed three games.
