Carragher: Nobody better than Man Utd boss Mourinho…

Jamie Carragher has praised Jose Mourinho for constantly getting the job done away from home.

Manchester United held local rivals Manchester City to a 0-0 draw at the Etihad Stadium last night, making it another scoreless draw for the Portuguese tactician since he came back to the Premier League with Chelsea.

This season with United, both home and away, Mourinho has seen his side draw with Liverpool twice, Arsenal, and now City and Carragher feels he is getting his side to perform in big games.

"He's come here to do a job," he said on Sky Sports.

"Since Mourinho came back to England for his second stint, he's had six 0-0s away from home against the top six. So there's nobody better than him at going there and getting the job done.

"You had (Matteo) Darmian and (Antonio) Valencia not too interested in getting involved in the play in attacking situations, and that's why United had such little possession, because they had so little options for a pass.

"Again, it's Mourinho nullifying a big manager in a big game, and it leaves their top four chances in their hands."
