Liverpool great Jamie Carragher admits that manager Jurgen Klopp would be ecstatic to have the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final against Southampton up their sleeves.
Last season, at the same stage, the German questioned the point of having two legs in a cup semi-final.
However, this season, following a 1-0 defeat to the Saints in the first leg at St Mary's on Wednesday, his team will have to rely on the second leg of the tie to overturn the deficit.
Carragher writes on his Twitter account: "Last season Klopp couldn't understand why the semi final was two legs, he'll be f*****g ecstatic that's the case tonight!"
