Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher says Everton boss Ronald Koeman needs to put a rocket up Romelu Lukaku.

Carragher wrote for the Daily Mail: "The issue that really gets me, however, is with Romelu Lukaku. Koeman gave an honest assessment — one which Evertonians did not like — last month when he said he felt the Belgian will one day go on to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

The issue that really gets Jamie Carragher with Everton is Romelu Lukaku's lack of work rate "He scores goals, certainly. He has enjoyed two fine seasons but when there was speculation about him re-joining Chelsea in the summer, if I was in a position of power at Everton I would have snapped their hand off had an offer of £60million arrived.

"Lukaku has certainly got talent. He and his agent, Mino Raiola, are never shy of telling us about that, but if he is to fulfil Koeman's prediction then there is one thing he has to do more than anything else — RUN."
