Jamie Carragher has enjoyed his first weeks under new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.

The veteran defender was one of the first to speak with Rodgers upon his appointment.

"I can only speak for myself in terms of the training sessions but they've been very enjoyable and we are working really hard. Whenever a new manager comes in there's always something slightly different, and because it's fresh and new people seem to take to it," he told liverpoolfc.com.

"I get on well with (Rodgers). He's come here and really settled well - I think he's already found a home in Formby, so he's settled in with his family. Everyone has their own ideas and ways of doing things and this manager is no different."
