The winners will face Sampdoria or AC Milan in the quarter-final.

“This is a very prestigious and historic game, because Carpi have never reached the last 16 of the Coppa Italia and we're facing one of the great teams in Italian football," said the Coach.

“This is why we are so eager to do well. We've trained hard over the last few days at Coverciano and the choice made with the club to stay in Tuscany after the game with Empoli was aimed at preserving energy in a week with three matches.
