Carney debuts for Norwich in goal fest

David Carney made his debut for Norwich in a thrilling match against Wolverhampton in the Championship. Carney made the move to Carrow Road on loan from Sheffield United earlier this week and stepped out for his debut match with the Canaries against the top of the table Wolves.

In an exciting affair, Wolves took the lead through Sylvan Ebanks-Blake 25 minutes in but Norwich answered seven minutes later through Lee Croft.

Carney came on a minute after half-time and it immediately paid dividends as the Canaries went ahead through Carl Cort.

Ebanks-Blake netted twice in three minutes to edge the Wolves ahead before Gary Doherty equalised in the 65th minute.

It was a successful start for Carney as the Wolves sit five points ahead at the top of the Championship table and to take a point away from them is positive for Norwich who sit just out of the relegation zone.
