Eva Carneiro has reportedly left her role at the Chelsea Football Club.
According to the Daily Mail, the former Blues first team doctor has parted company with the reigning Premier League champions after being demoted by manager Jose Mourinho.
Carneiro was lambasted by Mourinho for running onto the Stamford Bridge pitch in the season opener against Swansea City on August 8 to tend to Eden Hazard, which forced the player off the pitch at a crucial stage in the 2-2 draw.
The Gibraltar-born doctor drew ire from Portuguese tactician Mourinho, who dropped her from match day duties, and she is now seeking legal advice from top employment lawyers.
Carneiro had been Chelsea's first team doctor for five years prior to the incident.
