Carlton Cole is ready to leave West Ham United.

The Sun says long-serving striker Cole will say his Upton Park farewell against Reading having failed to win a new contract.

The former Chelsea ace, 29, joined the Hammers in 2006 but rejected new terms last season.

Now, after just two goals this season, Cole will be the first summer casualty of boss Sam Allardyce's squad.
