USA defender Carlos Bocanegra wants to stay with crisis club Rangers.
Bocanegra claims he is enjoying life in Scotland and does not want to quit cash-strapped Rangers in the summer.
The defender said: "We will finish the season and see what happens. Hopefully a new buyer comes in.
"I really like it here, I enjoy coming to work every day. It's unfortunate what's happened off the field but I want to be a part of this club.
"I'm the same as everybody else and we are hoping a new buyer comes in sooner rather than later.
"It's a tough situation and it's a waiting game. There is a lot unknown right now for everyone.
"Me, personally, what I'm thinking is that I'll wait until the end of the season and hopefully a new buyer will come in, then reassess later in the summer and see what happens.
"But I'd like to stay here because I like it. I'm happy here, I want to be a part of it."
