Carlisle United boss Greg Abbott is delighted with the capture of Manchester United midfielder Corry Evans.

Evans featured in the 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers on the weekend.

"He can pass it, he is tenacious, has a good reading of the game and is a good, all-round footballer," said Abbott.

"He has been on the fringes of the Manchester United squad and being an international you would think he would handle our level."
