Crystal Palace, West Ham, Charlton and Bristol City have postponed Carling Cup home matches which were due to take place on Tuesday night on the request of police after three days of rioting in London. The Hammers were set to host Aldershot at Upton Park, Reading were scheduled to travel to Charlton while Palace were to host Crawley at Selhurst Park and Bristol City had been preparing to face Swindon
However, all three games have been called off, with the police needing to concentrate their resources elsewhere.
